- Linda L. Waggoner Obituary
Linda L. Waggoner, age, 80, resident of Orwell, passed away peacefully Tuesday, in the arms of family and friends. Linda was born September 22, 1945, in Henderson, the daughter of Clarence and Bertha Jenks Phillips. She graduated from Henderson High School in 1964 and from beauty school in 1965. Linda was married to her husband Victor Waggoner on October 14, 1967, and he passed away April 18, 2013. She worked as a hairstylist for 60-years. She owned and operated Linda’s Beauty Salon for 56 years and prior to that had work for Deanne Manwaring. Linda was a longtime member of the Pulaski Eastern Star #159. She was also a member of the Park United Methodist Church and Clair’s Quilting group.
Surviving, are two daughters, Pamela (Dennis) Rood of Orwell and Patricia Waggoner (Dan Trumble) of Pulaski, her companion, James Hathaway of Orwell, two grandsons, Joshua Herbert Waggoner of Orwell and Wyatt Victor James Trumble of Pulaski, and daughter in-law, Maureen Money of Lafayette, sister, brother Frank Phillips of Henderson and sister Harriet Wilcox of Sandy Creek. Linda was predeceased by her husband Victor in 2013, her son Victor H. in 2020, and sister, Frances Brenon in 2022.
Funeral services will be held at noon, Sunday, October 19th at Park United Methodist Church, 2 Hubble Street in Pulaski with burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Orwell. Calling hours will be held Saturday, October 18th from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski.
