    • Newspaper Obituary - August 17, 2008 Post Standard - Syracuse, New York - Charles A. Mattison Jr.- August 15, 2008 - Charles A. Mattison Jr., 78, life resident of Altmar, died Friday in Watertown. He was born May 12, 1930, in Altmar and graduated from Pulaski Academy High School in 1947. He owned and operated a dairy farm for 45 years and was later employed by Ames Dept. Store in Pulaski for several years. Surviving: one daughter, Ruth Meeks of Waterloo; three sisters, Virginia Pollic of Richland, Eleanor Geyer of VA and Ruth Larrabee of Detroit, MI; friends, Cathy and Tim Derr of Richland; and three grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Clarissa, and one sister, Evelyn Summers. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski, with burial in Pineville Cemetery. Calling hour will be 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, prior to the service.
