    • Does anyone know why the children of this man born after 1823 were born in LeRoy, N. Y., when the first several children were born in Williamstown, N. Y., which can be assumed to have been located in Oswego County, N. Y. -- what is intriguing is that the family was located in Jefferson County in 1860? Seems a circuitous migration pattern. Also, the Eddy book indicates that Zephaniah died in Theresa, Jefferson County, N. Y. Why would that be? Was there a hospital in Theresa in 1868? My main goal of searching this Eddy family has been to identify the lineage of one Arthur Eddy, a druggist in 1880, at Theresa, N. Y. He apparently died in 1887, leaving his wife, Mary E. Eddy, a daughter, Ina, a son, George, and perhaps others. I believe that this Arthur's father was the Charles Giles Eddy, who is shown here as the first child of Zephaniah Eddy. My accounting of that theory is indicated in the lineage shown on this database. Please remember, this may be incorrect. I'd appreciate help on this project. (by shirley) The Eddy book indicated that Zephaniah was married, second, to a Mrs. Barr -- apparently after 1862 when Sally died.
