Services Held for Earl S. Staring Staring, 59, of 935 Mottville Road, died Sunday, Nov. 4, at Auburn Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Amboy, he had resided in Mottville since 1956. Staring was an inspector for the Lipe Rollway Corp. for 20 years, retiring in 1977. Surviving are his wife, Ethel; three daughters, Mrs. Nancy Redden of Port Byron, Mrs. Peggy Juhl of Auburn, and Faye; six sons, Stanley of Auburn, Harold of Jordan, Earl Jr. of Weedsport, Clarence of Montezuma, and David and Earl J. of Port Byron; his mother, Ida of Ricard; two sisters, Mrs. Edith Webb of Williamstown, and Mrs. Ida Lamphier of St. Petersburg, Fla.; three brothers, Milton of Ricard, Irving of Williamstown, and Clifford of Phoenix; three grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren. Services were Wednesday at the Ricard United Methodist Church. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Altmar. Source: Oswego Valley News, 1979
