- Newspaper Obituary - Monday, October 3, 1994 Syracuse Harold Journal - Syracuse, New York - Andrew P. Carnes, 19, of 9101 Church St., died Sunday the result of injuries suffered in an automobile accident on Jackson Road in the town of Orwell. He was born in Watertown and graduated from Sandy Creek High School in 1993. He graduated from Lincoln Electric School in Cleveland, Ohio in Dec. 1993. He participated in varsity football and wrestling in high school. Later, he worked as a self-employed welder. He was a communicant of St. Frances Catholic Church in Lacona, where he served as an altar boy for many years. Surviving are his father, John S. Carnes and his mother, the former Debra L. Kennedy; two brothers, John D. and Thomas P.; a sister, Katherine; his paternal grandparents, John H. and Rita Carnes of Pulaski; his maternal grandparents, John J. and Monica Kennedy of Winchester, Va.; two aunts; four uncles; and several cousins. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Francis Church in Lacona, the Rev. Anthony Keeffe officiating. Burial will be in Pulaski Cemetery.
