      Eileen M. Condon, 87, of North Syracuse, passed away on Thursday. Born in Syracuse, January 5, 1927 to the late Patrick and Mary Barrett. She was a 65-year resident of North Syracuse.

      She attended St. Patrick's Grammar School, graduated in 1944 from Most Holy Rosary High School and later from Powelson Business Institute. She worked for Rusterholtz and Rossell. She was a member of TOPS #NY 115, North Syracuse and volunteered with Meals On Wheels. She was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church and was a member of their Altar and Rosary Society. She enjoyed sewing and knitting, at which she excelled.

      She was predeceased by John C., her husband of 67 years, on December 25, 2012, and by a son, Robert, this past June.

      Surviving are eight children, Linda (Henry) Phillips of Parish, Nancy (Michael) Obleman of Pulaski, John (Toni) Condon of Medford, NJ, Eileen (Terry) Servis of Rochester, James of Syracuse, Mary Anne (James) Emery of Ellicott City, MD, Patrick (Angel) of Kirkville, Michael (Diana) of Buffalo, WY; daughter-in-law, Carol Condon of Chittenango; 17 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two brothers, James (Susan) Barrett and Robert (Adrianne) Barrett, and several nieces and nephews.

      Services will be Monday, September 29 at 9:30 a.m. at the Fergerson Funeral Home, and a Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Church followed by interment in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt. Calling hours will be from 4 to 7 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home, 215 South Main Street, North Syracuse.
