- Newspaper Obituary - December 31, 1941 Sandy Creek News - Sandy Creek, New York - Mrs. Alice Colvin Bulson - Mrs. Alice Colvin Bulson, 81, a former resident of Osceola, was instantly killed on Christmas day when she was thrown from a car driven by her husband which collided with another at intersection in Syracuse. Mrs. Bulson suffered a broken neck. Her husband, Walter Bulson, suffered only minor injuries. Mrs. Bulson is survived by her husband; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Colvin, Osceola; five sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Hort, Houston, Tex., Mrs. Ann Wood, Brewerton; Mrs Lucy Currier, Osceola; Mrs. Herman Draper, Miami, Fla., and Miss Murial Colvin, Osceola, and four brothers, George, John, and Lynn Colvin of Osceola and Orin Colvin, Orwell. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon, December 28, 1941 at the Mill Petrie Memorial chapel, Parish. The Rev. E. Kendall Scouten, pastor of Parish Methodist church officiated and burial was in Pleasant Lawn cemetery, Parish.
