Robert "Bob" Condon, 60, of Chittenango, passed away Monday at his home, his final days were spent surrounded by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, John Condon and is survived by his mother, Eileen Barrett Condon; his wife, Carol; his two sons, Zach and Matt (Renee) Condon and one grandson, Barrett. He was the fifth child from a family of nine children with Linda, Nancy, John, Eileen, James, Maryanne, Patrick and Michael. He had an ever growing extended family full of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Bob was a graduate of Bishop Grimes High School and SUNY Canton. He was a skilled builder and craftsman and never met a problem his hands could not fix. He preferred to spend his time outside, whether it be working or enjoying the simple things in life with family and friends. Calling hours will be held 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 5 at the G.F. Zimmer Funeral Home, 702 Legion Drive, Chittenango. A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 6 at St. Patrick's Church, Murray Dr., Chittenango.
