Rites Tuesday For Anselm Pappa, 61
Funeral services for Anselm Pappa, aged, 6l, were held 10 a. m. Tuesday morning from St. Patrick's church, Williamstown, Rev. Roger Bowen officiating.
Mr, Poppa's death occurred last Sunday morning at Oneida county hospital where he had been a patient for the past month.
He was born March 17, 1891, at Croghan, a son of the late Frank and Victoria (Bintz) Pappa. He lived most of his life on the Redfield Williamstown road and worked in the woods or sawmills.
He married Miss Ida Inman of Frankfort, Nov 12, 1919. She died in May 1938. He is survived by a sister, Mrs. James Secor and a brother Wallace Pappa, both of Williamstown and several nieces and nephews. A brother, Francis, died Oct. 23, 1952
Bearers were Henry Leigh, Howard and Henry White, Lewis Archibee, James and Edward Finnerty. The body was placed in the vault for burial in Holy Cross cemetery in the spring
