      Anton Trey
      Anton Trey, a retired baker and former resident of this village, passed away at his home on Second Street, Northport, Thursday morning of last week. He had been ill for several years.
      Mr. Trey was born in Germany March 7, 1878, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lukas Trey and came to this country in his early youth. He leaves his widow, Mrs. Elizabeth Trey and two children and a grandchild.
      Funeral Services were held from the Fasbender Funeral Home Saturday with the Rev. Paul H. Pallmeyer officiating and Interment was in the Melville Cemetery.

      Arrived in the U.S. about 1905. Left for Germany about 1912. Fought in WWI. Returned back to U.S. with family Nov 1924.
