- Brigitta Cook, 81, of Summerville, widow of Jesse Cook, passed away Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at Life Care Center of Charleston.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday evening from 6 until 8 o'clock at the funeral home. Memorial service will be held Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 11 o'clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home Chapel, Summerville. Spring burial will be held in Pulaski Village Cemetery, Pulaski, New York. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to any Hospice Organization of your choice.
Mrs. Cook was born July 6, 1931 in Stettin, Germany, daughter of the late Paul and Helene Frank Krause. She was a member of the Summerville Artist Guild. She enjoyed reading, traveling and water color. She was a retired school teacher of 25 years and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Watertown, New York.
Surviving are: one daughter and one son: Pamela Hulse (Robert) of Summerville and Stephen Williams (Pam) of Summerville, two granddaughters and one grandson: Krista Rivera of North Charleston, Kathryn Black of Central, SC and Phoenix R. Stevenson of Summerville, one great grandson, one sister: HanneLore Gruneberg of Germany and one nephew Christian Gruneberg of Germany, two step children: Michele Cook of Sebastian, FL and Michael Cook of Summerville.
