- Mrs. Drissie Dillenbeck
PULASKI - Mrs. Drissie C. Dillenbeck, 84, of Springbrook Apartments died Monday morning at the House of the Good Samaritan, Watertown.
Born Sept. 30, 1896, at Akron, she was the daughter of Frederick and Mary Hodgens Closen.
She graduated from Akron High School and Geneseo Normal School. She worked as a school teacher for many years at Pulaski Academy and Central School and later, at the high school in Central Square.
She married Ernest H. Dillenbeck, June 30, 1923. He served as chairman of the board at First National Bank of Central Square before his death May 15. 1968.
After retiring from teaching, Mrs. Dillenbeck moved to Pulaski in 1973. She was a member of Pulaski Chapter 159, Order of Eastern Star.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Mary Lou Demick of Cobleskill, and two grandchildren.
Services and burial will be at 11:30 a.m. today in Pulaski Cemetery, the Rev. Stanley E. Skinner officiating. Eastern Star services will be at 11 a.m. today at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski.
There will be no calling hours.
