Newspaper Obituary - (date & newspaper unavailable) - Pulaski - Mrs. Nellie Fleming, 84, widow of Cheney Fleming, long a resident of Pulaski and vicinity, died Monday evening at the home of her son, R. L. Fleming, Adams. She was born in New Haven, July 13, 1868, daughter of the late George and Julia Granger Williams. Living in Pulaski for many years she was the oldest member of the Pulaski Baptist church and before it disbanded, she was an active member of Celia Dewey Seamans Tent, DUV. She received her education in Pulaski Academy and for a time taught in district schools in this vicinity. Following the death of her husband, she was office assistant to the late L. J. Farmer in his nursery business. She is survived by three sons, R. L. of Adams, Rev. B. W. Fleming, Malone, and Fordyce W. Fleming, Pulaski; a granddaughter, Mrs. F. W. Race, and two great-grandchildren of Liverpool, and a niece, Mrs. John Steves, Syracuse. Friends may call at the Paddock funeral home, Adams, from 2 - 5 p.m. Wednesday, and at the Foster funeral home, Pulaski from 7 - 9 p.m. Wednesday. Services will be held at the Foster home at 2 p.m. Thursday with burial in Daysville cemetery.
