Cole Prominent in Patrons of Industry - Pulaski, November 20 - A large number of relatives and close friends were shocked to learn of the sudden death of Mrs. Lucius C. Cole, a most estimable woman, which occurred at the family home on the State road, five miles west of Pulaski, Saturday afternoon. Mrs. Cole, who was about 58 years old, had for some time been subject to heart trouble. She was about the house Saturday and seemed to be in her usual health, not having complained of feeling unwell until a few moments before her death, being suddenly stricken, and sank into a chair, calling to her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Carlton Cole, who was in an adjoining room, and who immediately hastened to her relief. The usual remedy was administered and then Dr. Frank S. Low of this village was summoned by telephone, but the woman expired before he reached there. Deceased was a member of Lake Ontario association, Patrons of Industry, and always envinced a deep interest in the society. The husband, Capt. Lucius C. Cole, survives; also a son, Carlton Cole, and three sisters, Mrs. Mason Calkins and Mrs. Hartwell Douglas of Daysville and Mrs. Lamoyne Knollin of Sandy Creek. Dr. Leroy F. Hollis of Lacona, an Oswego county coroner, with Dr. Frank S. Low as coroner's physician, went to the Cole farm yesterday and after an investigation deemed an inquest unnecessary, declaring that paralysis of the heart was the cause of death.
