  Arestine A. Spencer, 87, a lifetime resident of Spencer Road, died Saturday at her home. Mrs. Spencer and her husband owned and operated a dairy farm for 60 years. Born Oct. 4, 1915, in Parish, daughter of Earl and Marion Stowell Halsey, she married Erwin Spencer on Sept. 4, 1938. He died Jan. 26, 1979. She was a member of Dugway United Methodist Church. Surviving are two sisters, Reatha Spedding, Pulaski, and Marion Ginn, Mexico; two brothers, Raymond Halsey, Syracuse, and Maurice Halsey, Bushnell, Fla., a granddaughter and a grandson. A son, Melvin, died July 5, 2000. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home. Burial will be in Maple Lawn Cemetery, Dugway.
