      Newspaper Obituary - Friday evening, November 2, 1956 Cortland standard - Cortland, New York - Mrs. George Damon, 89, of Sheds, Dies in City - Mrs. Arinda C. Damon, 89, of Sheds, widow of George Damon, died yesterday in Cortland Memorial Hospital. A native of Orwell, Mrs. Damon is survived by two sons, Charles Waggoner of Georgetown, Alfred Waggoner of Altmar; three daughters, Mrs. George Leet of Sheds, Mrs. Lula Walrod of Skaneateles, Mrs. Fred Eastman of Madison; seven grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Phoebe Woodard of Redfield. Services will be held from the home of George Leet, Sheds, Monday at 10 a.m. and at the Congregational church in Orwell at 1 p.m. The Rev. Lloyd J. Crosby will officiate. Interment will be in Orwell cemetery. Friends may call at the Leet home at their convenience.
      Newspaper Article - Thursday, November 8, 1956 Sandy Creek News - Sandy Creek, New York - Mrs. Damon Dies, Funeral in Orwell - Redfield - Mrs. Phoebe Woodard and daughter, Euretta, were in Orwell on Monday afternoon to attend the funeral of her sister, Mrs. Arinda Damon, aged 82 years, whose death occurred on November 1 at the home of a daughter in Sheds, New York. She had been in poor health for some time.
