- Beryl Greenfield-(Feb. 28, 1933-Jan. 23, 2015) son of Harold and Mary (Camp) Greenfield. Beryl was a long time member of our organization. He graduated from Sandy Creek in 1951 and went on to Syracuse University completing his degree in 1970. Beryl was married to the former Irene Janacek, and the couple have four children.

Beryle J. Greenfield, age 81, life resident of Orwell, passed away Monday at his home. Beryle was born February 28, 1933 in Orwell, the son of Harold and Mary Viola Camp Greenfield. He graduated from Sandy Creek High School in 1951 and Syracuse University in 1970. Beryle married Irene Janacek on November 29, 1952. He was employed by Sandy Creek School District as a business administrator for 26 years, retiring in 1995. He had also been previously employed by Carrier Corp. for eight years, and he also did tax preparation for 50 years. Beryle attended Pine Meadow's Wesleyan Church and he was a former County Legislator and town supervisor for the town of Orwell.
Surviving are his wife, Irene; three sons, Stephen (Pam) Greenfield of Sioux Falls, SD, Wayne (Debra) Greenfield of Pulaski, and Bruce (Tina) Greenfield of Raytown, MO; and one daughter, Cheryl Potts of Orwell; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Beryle was predeceased by one daughter, Dawn Greenfield who passed away in 2000.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at the Vorea Community Church, 12 Waggoner Road, Richland, with a spring burial in Evergreen Cemetery in Orwell. Calling hours will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Friday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski.
