      Newspaper Obituary - Monday, October 15, 1951 Oswego Palladium Times - Oswego, New York - Pulaski - Mrs. Cassia Joyner Atkinson, 64, wife of John Atkinson, Daysville, a life-long resident of Oswego county, died Sunday in Crouse-Irving hospital where she had been a patient for five days. She was born in the Town of Redfield, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Joyner, and as a young girl came to the Town of Richland with her parents, and for 47 years following her marriage, had lived on the same farm in the Daysville district. She was a member of Fernwood Methodist church, and is survived by her husband; by two daughters, Mrs. Gladys Wadsworth, Pulaski and Mrs. Mabel Ladd, Cicero; by three sons, Kenneth, Carl and Bradford Atkinson, all of Pulaski; two brothers, Robert Joyner, Sandy Creek and Chaney Joyner, Pulaski; by three sisters, Mrs. Arthur Hilton, Orwell, Mrs. Harriet Lyons, Sandy Creek and Mrs. Harold Mandtgold, Sandy Creek. The Rev. George Butler, Adams Methodist church, former Fernwood pastor, will officiate at funeral services at the family home at 2 p.m. Wednesday, and interment will be made in Daysville cemetery.
