- CHLORYS SWEENEY, PULASKI, DIES AT AGE OF 80

Chlorys E. Sweeney, 80, Daysville Road, died Saturday night at St. Luke Nursing Home, Oswego.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, with the Rev. Elizabeth Mowry, pastor of Park United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Pulaski Cemetery.
Calling hours are 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to Park United Methodist Church.
Surviving are a son, Gary Lee, Sandy Creek; three granddaughters, a great-granddaughter; two brothers, Rex Rossman, Pulaski, and Harold Rossman, Auburn, and a sister, Irma Derby, Auburn.
Born in Pulaski on Nov. 27, 1910, a daughter of Charles and Flora Phelps Rossman, she was a 1928 graduate of Pulaski High School. She married William G. Sweeney on Nov. 27, 1929. He died Jan. 9, 1981.
Mrs. Sweeney was a member of the Ladies Home Bureau.
