      Dugal M. Brown Sr., 70, Route 13, died Wednesday at his home.

      Mr. Brown was employed by General Electric Co., Syracuse, for 32 years, retiring in 1989. He owned Brown's Campground and was still operating it at the time of his death. He also ran a farm for many years.

      Born Nov. 15, 1927, in Pulaski, son of David and Hazel Hilton Brown, he attended Pulaski schools. He served in the Merchant Marine from 1943 to 1947 and in the Army from 1955 to 1956.

      Mr. Brown lived in Pulaski for 30 years before moving to Altmar in 1959. He was an avid fisherman.

      Surviving are his wife, the former Sonja R. Schmied; six daughters, Carla Heh, Munnsville, Delores Beeso and Elaine Mizzoni, both of Pittsford, Gloria Brown, East Rochester, Monica Garner, Mexico, and Suzanne Toole, East Syracuse; two sisters, Sally Marriott, Fayetteville, N.C., and Thelma Schmid, Las Vegas, Nev.; two brothers, Alex, Lacona, and Roderick, Parish; nine grandchildren and a great-grandson.

      A son, Dugal M. Jr., died June 13, 1990.

      The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

      Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
