- Enda "Pete" McCarthy, aged 60, resident of Liverpool, formerly of Pennellville, passed away Friday at his home. Pete was born January 1, 1955 in England, the son of Joseph and Mary McCarthy. He attended school in England. Pete served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War as a Ranger and also a Green Beret. He married Bonnie Jean Owens on September 26, 1981. Pete was also a volunteer driver for DAV.
Surviving are his wife Bonnie Jean, one daughter, Shawnna (Channey) Joyner of Pulaski, one brother, John McCarthy and one sister, Veronica McCarthy both of Florida, his mother, Mary also of Florida, and two granddaughters, Ashleigh and Emily.
Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, December 11, at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski with burial in Riverside Cemetery, Pulaski. A calling hour will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the funeral.
