      Fredericka “Nurse Freddie” Stanulevich, age 80, of Rome passed away peacefully on November 10, 2020, after a long illness.

      She was born August 19, 1940, in Rome, the daughter of the late Carleton and Nellie Henderson Brush. She graduated from Rome Free Academy and the MVCC School of Nursing. Fredericka was united in marriage to Edward J. Stanulevich, Jr, on July 9, 1958, at the Church of the Transfiguration; he died on March 4, 1967. Fredericka was a Registered Nurse and formerly worked at Rome Hospital, Dr. John Ludin’s office and retired from the Visiting Nurses Association. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Rome.

      Fredericka is survived by daughters, Lynn and Phillip Picciotti, Jr, of Liverpool, and Diane E. DiLeo of Fort Plain; grandchildren, Steven Fanfarillo, Ryan Newman, Benjamin DiLeo, Christina DiLeo, Carleton DiLeo, Rhiannon and Daniel DuPont, Dr. Edward J. IV and Melanie Stanulevich; and 8 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Edward J. Stanulevich III, and a brother, Arthur Brush.

      Funeral services will be private.
