    • Jermyn was baptized on June 29, 1913 at St. Mary's Church in Florence. His Godparents were Tom & Josephine (Monroe) Hanrahan. Jermyn was named for his parents good friend Jermyn Downey of Oswego, New York. Mr. Downey had a camp in Redfield on the North Osceola Rd.
      Jermyn Francis attended Redfield School, and later went on to Syracuse University where he majored in Medicine, going on further to become a Doctor specializing in occupational Health.
