    • Leafy A. Fleming - February 6, 1881 - September 13, 1934. Daughter of George W. and Hattie Spencer Fleming. Wife of Ernest Herman Krebs. Section 5, Row 11.

Newspaper Obituary - Thursday September 20, 1934 Mexico Independent - Mexico, New York - Leafy Fleming Krebs, Daysville Correspondent - Death has again entered our community and taken from our midst our beloved friends and neighbor, Mrs. Herman Krebs. She had been in poor health all summer and two weeks ago fell and broke her hip from which she never recovered. All that human hands could do to alleviate her suffering was done, but she continued to fail until her death which occurred on Thursday evening, September 13, 1934. Leafy Fleming was born on February 6, 1881, daughter of the late George and Hattie Spencer Fleming, at their home near Ramona Beach. In early womanhood she was married to Herman Krebs who survives her. Of a quiet and retiring nature those who knew her best loved her most. A true and devoted wife, a loving indulgent mother, a kind and helpful neighbor, she had passed on to her great reward, deeply mourned by a large circle of friends. Surviving, besides her husband, are a daughter, Mrs. Pauline Griffin; a son, Charles Krebs; a sister, Mrs. Maude Walton of Mexico; ten grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was a member of Daysville Grange No. 225 and of the Episcopal Church of Pulaski. Funeral services were held from her late home Saturday at 1 p.m. Interment in Daysville cemetery.
