NEWSPAPER OBITUARY - Wednesday, June 14 1916 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - L. J. Gould, 62, Dead - Following an illness of about two weeks, Lel J. Gould, died at his home in this village last Thursday morning. Besides his widow, who was Mrs. Ella Maltby Doan, he is survived by two sons and two daughters, Roy Gould, of Clinton, Iowa, Elmer Gould of Osceola, Iowa, Mrs. Bessie Saint, of Liscomb, Iowa and Mrs. Bertha Lingle of Claremont, South Dakota, and three sisters and two brothers, Mrs. Nellie Parsons, of Indiana; Mrs. Fannie Harmon, of Iowa; Mrs. Mary Durkee, of California; Charles Gould and William Gould, of Iowa. Mr. Gould came here from Iowa about three years ago and he has been in poor health for several months. Funeral services were held from his late home in Lincoln Avenue last Saturday morning, Rev. E. A. Rogers officiating. The body was taken to Liscomb, Iowa for burial.
