Marwin "Bill" Clark, 80, of county Route 4,Central Square, died Monday at Pontiac Nursing Home, Oswego.
He was born in Hastings Center. He retired in 1978 after 26 years as highway superintendent for the town of Hastings. He also worked 25 years with Ballard Construction. He was a member of First Universalist Church of Central Square, the Oswego County Highway Superintendents Association and the Baldwinsville Lodge of the Loyal Order of Moose, and a former officer of the Oswego County Tavern Baseball League.
Survivors: His wife of 60 years, the former Mary Maynard; a daughter, Darleen Provo of West Palm Beach, Fla.; four sons, Keith, Jerry and Robert, all of Central Square, and Barry of Cleveland; two sisters, Virginia Ladd and Vera Nessmiller, both of Central Square; a brother, Warren of Central Square; 13 grandchildren.
Services: 11 a.m. Saturday at Watson Funeral Home. Burial, Hillside Cemetery, Central Square. Calling hours, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, 631 S. Main St., Central Square.
