    • Pearlina Lovisa Stowell Hilton - July 30, 1844 - April 17, 1934. Daughter of William Henry Harrison and Mary Elizabeth Draper Stowell. Wife of Josiah Hilton.
      Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, April 25, 1934 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Orwell - Mrs. Perlina Stowell Hilton who would have been 90 years of age had she lived until July 30, died at her home in Vorea district, Orwell Tuesday morning, April 17. She was born in Orwell in 1844, where her grandfather Orin Crocker Stowell settled in 1817. She was one of seven children born to William and Elizabeth Draper Stowell, who were also natives of Orwell. October 23, 1859, Perlina Stowell was married to Josiah Hilton of Orwell, five children being born to them. Chloe and Edson, who died when young, John Hilton of East Syracuse, Mrs. Almeda a Williams of Richland and George Hilton of Pulaski. Her husband, Josiah Hilton died in April 1921. Mrs. Hilton had 79 descendants, including 27 grandchildren, 18 of whom are living, 59 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. A prayer service was conducted in the home at 1 o'clock Friday afternoon and in Orwell Union church at 2 o'clock by Rev. Walter Clement, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal church of Taberg. Burial was in Evergreen cemetery, Orwell.
