      Depauville, Aug. 17.-Secord Van Alstyne died at his home in this place Friday morning after an illness of several months. His death was not unexpected.
      He is survived, besides his widow, by the following children. Clarence. Frank, Maurice. George, Stewart, Fred. Mrs. Fred George and Mrs. Winifred Beckwith, also the follow¬ing brothers and sisters. Wallace Van Alstyne of Pulaski; Miles Van Alstyne of Sackets Harbor; Mrs. Rhoda Reed of Henderson: Mrs. Wyett Hammond of Adams: Mrs. Herbert Potter of Sackets Harbcr.
      The funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 1 from the late home. Interment will be made at Depauville cemetery.
