Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, March 19, 1885 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Died in this town, February 28, 1885, Uzzel Jones, aged 79 years. The deceased has been living with his daughter, Mrs. Harvey Wright, for a number of years. He was born in this town and has always lived on the farm where he died, and was thus the oldest resident of the town. He had been for many years a member of the Pulaski M. E. Church, and his pastor, Rev. C. W. Brooks, officiated at the funeral services. The remains of this old and highly respected citizen and native of Oswego county were deposited in the family lot in Pulaski cemetery, where his wife, whose maiden name was Maria Hough, has for many years been buried.
