Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, October 7, 1937 Oswego Palladium Times - Oswego, New York - Pulaski, October 7 - Mrs. Daisy Alspach Whittemore, wife of Scott Whittemore, died Wednesday night in Memorial hospital, Syracuse, after undergoing an operation two weeks ago. Although she had been in poor health some time before going to the hospital, she apparently was recovering there until she took a turn for the worse and failed to rally. Mrs. Whittemore was born in Rochester, Indiana, April 30, 1887, and had resided in Pulaski the past 22 years. She was married to Mr. Whittemore 27 years ago. Mrs. Whittemore was a member of the Methodist church and Rising Sun Rebekah lodge. Surviving are her husband; one daughter, Mrs. William Waterbury, Central Square; three grandsons; one brother, Eli Alspach, Peru, Indiana, and two sisters, Mrs. Charles Richardson, Rochester, Indiana, and Mrs. James Clemens, Akron, Indiana. Funeral services will be at the home in Port street Sunday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. W. A. Gardner of the Methodist church officiating and burial in Willis cemetery.
