- Judy A. Lyng, 65, of US RT 11, passed away December 2, 2015, at the Samaritan Keep Homewhere she had been a resident since September 2009.
Mrs. Lyng was born April 17, 1950, in Watertown a daughter of Milton and Anna GoodfriendAubertine. She graduated from General Brown High School. On October 21, 1972, shemarried Patrick Lyng at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church with Rev. Benoit Dostieoffi ciating. Mrs. Lyng was employed as an operator for the New York Telephone Company, a cashier at the A&P Store, for twenty years she managed properties for Coldwell Banker RealEstate, a demonstrator at Tascano Promotions Marketing, and a teacher’s aid for specialneeds at BOCES.
Mrs Lyng was a communicant of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church. Judy was a lovingaunt, friend, sister, wife and mother. She enjoyed life to the fullest and took pleasure intraveling with her family, especially to Florida where many of her family members reside.Judy took great pride in assisting special needs children with her time working for the schoolsystems.
Surviving besides her husband, are two sons and a daughter-in-law; Sean, Ryan and Chelsey,all of Watertown, a grandson; Evan Lyng, a sister; Deborah Hayward, of Watertown, severalnieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Sunday 2-5pm at the D.L. Calarco Funeral Home, Inc. A prayer servicewill be held Monday at 10:15 am at the D.L. Calarco Funeral Home, Inc. with a funeral massat 11am Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church with Rev. Pierre Aubin, SMC. Burial will be inGlenwood Cemetery.
