- June 27, 2008 Robert G. Ballantine, 83, of Pulaski, died Friday at his home. Born June 3, 1925, in Watertown, he was the son of Renwick C. and Clara Gaumond Ballantine. He lived in Marcellus from 1959 to 2003, when he moved to Pulaski. He graduated from Watertown High School and served in the U.S. Navy Reserves from 1942-46 and from 1950-52. CLOBFLAG CLOBFLAGHe married Lorena E. on April 24, 1948. Robert was employed by Syracuse Research Corp. for many years, retiring in 1991. Previously he was employed by RCA in NJ for several years. He was a member of Marcellus United Methodist Church and a former member of Marcellus Masonic Lodge. Surviving: his wife, Lorena; one son, Terry R. (Bonnie) Ballantine of Edmund, OK; one daughter, Dawn E. (Thomas) Moore of Las Vegas, NV; one sister, Mary L. Adams of FL; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Burial will be at the convenience of family at Brookside Cemetery in Watertown.
