      Newspaper Obituary - Monday, June 3, 2002 Watertown Daily Times - Watertown, New York - Nan M. Whaley, Homemaker - Nan M. Whaley, 84, Springbrook Apartments, died Sunday in Birchwood Health Center, Liverpool. Born May 11, 1918, in Cleveland, Ohio, daughter of Jack and Ardell Smith Brannan, she attended Pulaski schools. She had lived in the Pulaski and Richland area since 1920. She married Stanley L. Whaley in 1936. He died June 27, 1979. Surviving are two sons, Edward C. Whaley, Ontario, California, and Philip S. Whaley, Syracuse; three daughters, Joan Cusson, West Amboy, Barbara A. Mott, Pulaski, and Carol J. Ives, Elbridge, and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A daughter, Dorothy Gibbs, died November 10, 1996. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home. Burial will be in Richland Cemetery. Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
