- November 2, 2004 Vincent "Vince" Calogero, 73, of West Deadcreek Rd., Baldwinsville, died Tuesday at his home. Mr. Calogero was a life resident of Syracuse before moving to Baldwinsville in 1991. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and served with the 101st Airborne Division. He worked as a self-employed repair and remodeling contractor for many years. Vince was a member of St. Peter's R.C. Church and the Disabled American Veterans Chapter #1 in Syracuse. He was the son of the late Fannie and Anthony Calogero. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, the former Evelyn (Butterworth); three children, Vanessa, Nancy, and Vincent, along with their mother Jennie Raite all of Las Vegas; two stepsons, Larry and David Butterworth of Baldwinsville; two grandchildren, Joseph and Jessica; eight sisters, Grace, Angie, Rose, Fannie, Joy, Connie, Nancy and Frances; three brothers, Anthony, Salvatore and Jerry. Services will be 10 a.m. on Friday at St. Peter's R.C. Church. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale.
