      Francis A. Chilson dies in hospital; was Alco electrician

      Frances A. Chilson, 66, of 225 Janet St., died unexpectedly Saturday in Auburn Memorial Hospital.

      Born in Auburn, he lived here all his life, retiring in 1969 after 28 years as an electrician at Alco Products. Since his retirement he had been employed parttime at York Jewelers.

      Mr. Chilson was a member of Local 3482 United Steel Workers of America, AFL-CIO, and of Auburn Masonic Lodge.

      Surviving are his wife, Frances Taber Chilson; a daughter, Mrs. Diana Pizzoleo of Auburn; a granddaughter and two cousins.

      Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Brew Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fort Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Edward Simpson of Calvary Presbyterian Church will officiate.

      Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 tonight and from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Auburn Masonic Lodge will conduct services at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
