Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, May 25, 2000 Watertown Daily Times - Watertown, New York - Shirley L. Hilton Bank Bookkeeper - Shirley L. Crane Hilton, 57, of 111 LaFayette Road, Syracuse, a native of Newton Falls, died Tuesday at Community General Hospital, Syracuse. She had accidentally choked to death on a sandwich. Mrs. Hilton had been a bookkeeper at Lincoln Bank, Pulaski, until 1973. Born August 18, 1942, in Newton Falls, daughter of Forrest and Fanny Morrison Crane, she was a 1968 graduate of Central City Business Institute, Syracuse, and later graduated from Oswego State University College. She was a member of Pulaski Baptist Church and the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary. Surviving are her husband, Robert A.; three sisters, Sharon Crane, Syracuse, Janice Yarwood, Clear Brook, Virginia, and Carol Crane, Buffalo, and a brother, Richard Crane, Orange Park, Florida. The funeral will be private. Burial will be in Orwell Cemetery, Richland [sic]. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are with Welter-Price Funeral Home, Syracuse.
