Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, March 25, 1954 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Rites Today for Mrs. A. Wright - Mrs. Cora Crossley Wright, 81, widow of Albert W. Wright, died at her home at 33 Park Street Monday afternoon following an illness of several months. Services will be held from the Foster Funeral Home this afternoon (Thursday) at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Cyrus M. Gonigam, pastor of the Congregational church, officiating. Interment will be made in Pulaski Cemetery. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Walter (Helen Wright) Ludwig of Dover, Delaware; a grandson, John Scott, of Washington, D. C., and a nephew, David Crossley, of Cleveland, Ohio. Mrs. Wright was born in Titusville, Pennsylvania, October 20, 1872, the daughter of Thomas and Mary Crossley. She moved to Syracuse as a young woman and married Mr. Wright in 1900. She lived later in Utica and Richland, coming to Pulaski many years ago where she and her husband operated Wright’s Inn at their late home. Mr. Wright died in 1943. She was a member of the Congregational church and the Pilgrim Guild and also a member of Pulaski Chapter 159, Order of the Eastern Star.
