- February 26, 2012 Grace M. (D'Augustino) Palmisano, 97, formerly of Syracuse, passed away Sunday in Largo, Florida. She was born in Syracuse, the daughter of Fred and Philomena D'Augustino and worked in retail sales. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank Palmisano, in 1991. Grace is survived by her son, Frank A. (Joanne) Palmisano of Syracuse and her daughter, Jo-Ann (Joseph) Sgroi of Largo, FL; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.), North Syracuse, NY. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR.
