Obituary of Gloria D. Craig
Gloria D. Craig, age 92, resident of Pulaski since 1953, passed away Tuesday at St. Luke’s Nursing Home in Oswego. Gloria was born October 8, 1929, in Fulton, the daughter of Louis and Laura Pluntair Francesconi. She graduated from Fulton High School in 1947. Gloria was married to Albert J. Craig on June 27, 1953, and he passed away June 25, 2010. She was employed by the Pulaski School District as a secretary for 10 years, retiring in 1987. Gloria was a member of Christ Our Light Parish and the Altar and Rosary Society.
Surviving are her son, David (Michele) Craig of Pulaski, her daughter, Jennifer (Michael) Monnat of Pulaski, one brother, Louis Francesconi of Connecticut, five grandchildren, Michael (Susan) Craig, James Craig (Emily Lukowski), Bryan (Tiffany) Craig, Paul Monnat (Cassie Story) and Elizabeth Monnat, and six great-grandchildren, Alan, Rowan, Henry, Ingrid, Mabel and Lena and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, July 5th at Christ Our Light Parish, 23 Niagara Street, Pulaski with burial in Pulaski Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 11 to 1 p.m. at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street prior to the service.
