    • Lee Anne (Garlock) Guyette, age 63, resident of Pulaski passed away Wednesday, February 19th at Francis House in Syracuse with her loving husband by her side. She was born January 19, 1962, at the House of the Good Samaritan, the daughter of Robert D. and Mary Lou (Roy) Garlock. She graduated from Watertown High School in 1980 and then attended Cosmetology School. Lee found the love of her life, Kirk Guyette, and they were married in their back garden on September 22, 2003.

She worked numerous jobs during her lifetime, including JCPenny and Empsalls as a cashier/clerk, and ultimately as Senior Stylist at JCPenny hair salon in Watertown. She was most recently employed by Jacqueline’s Hair Salon at 103 Delano, formerly Shampoo. Lee was a skilled stylist who always strived to make her clients beautiful and as a result she had a devoted clientele. She will be remembered for her personal fashion sense. Lee was always beautifully dressed, and her hair and makeup were done perfectly.

Lee enjoyed baking, gardening, playing with her cats and traveling to any place that was warm. She also enjoyed spending time on the St. Lawrence River where she spent most of her childhood summers on her parent’s island. Lee had a real zest and enthusiasm for life. You knew she had arrived before you saw her because of her infectious laugh that preceded her.

Lee is survived by her devoted husband of 22-years, Kirk of Pulaski, two sisters, Susan Garlock Minor and her partner Harold “Hoppy” Hopkin of Ormond Beach, FL and Robin Garlock Moran and her husband Patrick Moran of Redwood, NY, sisters in-law, Sandy Hughs of Beauford, SC and Sherry Batson of Philadelphia, PA, six nieces, one nephew, and six great-nieces and four great-nephews and cousins. Lee was predeceased by her parents, her mother in-law, Joyce Guyette, multiple aunts, uncles and cousins. She was a devoted wife, a wonderful parent to her kitty cats who she loved unconditionally, most recently, Mikey. She was a best friend to all, more specifically, Clare, Eileen and Karen who she grew up with for 52+ years. Lee lived life to the fullest, oh the stories we could tell!
