John Anthony Kingdeski, 60, of Route 11, Parish, died Wednesday, October 29, 1986 at St. Joseph's Hospital.
Mr. Kingdeski was a native of Syracuse. He was a pipefitter with Chrysler Corp. Mr. Kingdeski was a member of Local 624 of the United Auto Workers. He also was a member of the Senior Cyclones softball team. A Navy veteran of World War II, Mr. Kingdeski was a member of Gen. Pulaski Post 1650, American Legion.
Surviving are his wife, the former JoAnne Ottenschott; a son, John M. of Syracuse; a daughter, Jane Marie Kingdeski of Syracuse; two stepsons, Robert Johnson of New Orleans, La., and Rickey Johnson of Pulaski; two stepdaughters, Bonnie Stowell of Sandy Creek and Deborah Herrington of Syracuse; a brother, Michael of Syracuse; a sister, Julia Billy of Syracuse; and 10 grandchildren.
Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Harter-Olmstead Funeral Home and 11 a.m. at St. Ann's Church, both in Parish. Burial will was in Pleasant Lawn Cemetery, Parish. Calling hours were 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, October 31, at the funeral home, 7430 W. Main St.
