- BEVERLY D. PFLUGER, RESTAURATEUR, DIES AT 59

Beverly D. Pfluger, 59, Sandy Pond, died of a heart attack Tuesday at Oswego Hospital.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Park United Methodist Church, Pulaski, with the Rev. Elizabeth Mowry officiating. Spring burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Summerville Funeral Home.
Surviving are her husband, Charles "Jerry"; four cousins, Betty Bower and Robert Fountain, both of North Syracuse, Jane Kelly, Hoffmeister, and June Wesley, Huntington Beach, Calif., and several nieces and nephews.
Born in Syracuse April 2, 1933, a daughter of George and Mildred Hamlin Klasy, she graduated from Central Square's Main Street School in 1951.
She married Charles A. Pfluger Dec. 11, 1982.
Mrs. Pfluger was a summer resident of Sandy Pond for many years before moving to the area permanently in 1982. She and her husband operated Corners Restaurant at Sandy Creek the past 17 years.
