    • Newspaper Obituary - August 3, 1965 Syracuse Herald Journal - Mrs. Emma Harr Ballard, 68, of 219 Grand Avc., a native of Syracuse, died yesterday in St. Joseph's Hospital after a long llness. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Edward Tarnow and Mrs. Paul McLaughlin of Syracuse and Mrs. Ervin Miller of Sennett; two sons, Robert Harr of Syracuse and Leslie Webb of Los Angeles, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. William Strom; a brother, Edgar Chubb of Manlius; 10 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren. Services will be at John G. Butler Funeral Home Thursday at 1 p.m. the Rev. Rollin D. Malany officiating. Calling hours are 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow. Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery.
