Carl F. Locker, 65, of 3384 Maple Ave., died Sunday in St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center, Syracuse.
Mr. Locker lived in Jamesport for 27 years and worked at Grumman Aerospace Calverton on Long Island for 30 years until retiring in 1988. He worked for the Oswego County Green Thumb Program at Salmon River Fish Hatchery in Altmar.
He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7289, Robert Edwards American Legion Post 358 and Riverhead Moose Lodge. He was a former member of Jamesport Volunteer Fire Department.
Born June 10, 1935, in Riverhead, son of Francis and Margaret McDonald Locker, he graduated from Riverhead High School in 1953 and from Morrisville Agricultural and Technical College in 1959.
He served in the Navy from 1954 to 1958.
He married Sue M. Ingersoll on June 3, 1961, in St. John the Evangelist Church with the Rev. Richard P. Morisette officiating. The couple moved to Pulaski in 1988.
Surviving besides his wife are a son, Dennis J., Mattydale, and a grandson.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pulaski Cemetery
