Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, September 11, 1901 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Mrs. L. Cordelia Foster Lea, of Mill street, Pulaski, New York, died at her home, after an illness of about three weeks of apoplexy, September 1st, 1901. She was born October 5, 1824, at Fulton, New York, where she lived forty-five years. She was the eldest daughter of Moses E. Luddington, of Fulton, one of the oldest residents of that village. She was a sister of Mrs. M. A. Calkins late of this village, and Mrs. B. Chesbro, of Vermillion, New York, and Mrs. M. Rockwood, of Fulton, New York, also of Mr. Austin Luddington, of Middletown, New York. She leaves one son, Mr. H. F. Foster, of this village and three daughters, Mrs. Thomas Iden, Albany, New York, Mrs. J. R. Calkins, Rome, New York, and Mrs. Herbert Irwin, Verona Mills, New York. The funeral was directed by Mr. Walker, Jefferson street. Services conducted by Elder Ball of Elliotsville, New York. Interment at Willis cemetery. The bearers were Mr. Frederick W. Jones, John Taylor, Jason Lane and Mr. Caster.
