Newspaper Obituary - Saturday, December 28, 1946 - Syracuse Herald Journal - Syracuse, New York - Mrs. Gallagher Dies, Prominent Pulaski Grange - Pulaski -Mrs. Katie M. Gallagher, 63, widow of James T. Gallagher, died suddenly Friday at the home of her son, Edmund Gallagher, 132 Bridge street, Oswego. While her health had been poor, she had been improving until Friday. She was born in Carthage, daughter of Eugene and Kittie Gardner Mould. Until his death three years ago, her husband conducted a large dairy farm on the Scenic Highway at Port Ontario. Mrs. Gallagher was widely known in Grange circles, a member of Pulaski Grange and of Oswego Pomona Grange. She was active also in the Dairymen's League, and was school collector for some time in the Pulaski Central District. She leaves the one son. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Foster Funeral Home, Pulaski, the Rev. Daniel W. Fowler officiating. She was a member of Pulaski Congregational Church. Burial will be in Daysville Cemetery.
