Newspaper Obituary - Friday, November 8, 1935 Oswego Palladium Times - Oswego, New York - Pulaski, November 8 - Word has been received in Pulaski of the death of Mrs. Margaret Norwood Cross, wife of Fred F. Cross and a former very well known resident of Pulaski. Mrs. Cross had been undergoing treatment for high blood pressure and was stricken shortly after supper Wednesday evening at her home in Adams Center, dying late that night. She was born in Canada in March 1864, and was the daughter of the late Thomas and Ann Johanson Norwood. She came to Pulaski as a child and in 1895 married Fred F. Cross. She made her home in Pulaski for several years, later moving to Watertown but again returning to Pulaski where she lived until about 8 years ago. More recently she had lived in Watertown and Adams Center. While in Pulaski she was a member of St. James Episcopal church. Funeral services will be held at the family home in Adams Center Saturday at 1:30 by the Rev. Ivan M. Cash and interment will be in the Willis cemetery, Fernwood. Surviving her besides her husband is one brother, James R Norwood of Adams Center.
