- Newspaper Obituary - June 21, 1998 Syracuse Herald American - Pearl I. Allen, 85, of county Route 4, Central Square, died Saturday at Crouse Hospital. Born in Costa, Pa., she lived in Central Square more than 65 years. She and her husband operated C.W. Allen Construction of Central Square for 50 years. Her husband, Charles, died in January. Survivors: A daughter, Sharyn Castner of Central Square; a son, Roger of Central Square; a sister, Pauline Donaldson of San Diego, Calif.; four grandsons; four great-grandchildren. Services: Private. Burial, White Chapel Memory Gardens, DeWitt. No calling hours. Traub Funeral Home, Central Square, has arrangements. Contributions: Southern Oswego Volunteer Ambulance Corps.
