- Judith A. Arzie Obituary
Judith A. Arzie, age 77, resident of Port Ontario, passed away Monday at home. Judith was born December 1, 1946, in Perth Amboy, NJ, the daughter of Andrew and Jean Bruzdowski Sable. She attended St. Mary’s Elementary and graduated from Edison High School in New Jersey. Judith was married to her husband of 42-years, Gerald Arzie on April 11, 1982. In 1990, Judith and her husband moved to Pulaski and opened the Selkirk Shores Country Store at Port Ontario. She was famous for her delicious breakfast pizza and sub sandwiches! After the store closed, Judith was employed by Rite Aid in Pulaski for ten years, retiring in 2010. She was a faithful member of Christ Our Light Parish in Pulaski. Judith had a soft heart for animals and children. She loved being a mother and grandmother, and great-grandmother and spending time with her family.
Surviving, are her husband, Gerald, children, Ronald (Jeanne) Barankovich of Pulaski, John Barankovich (Sharon Flynn) of West Monroe, Stephanie (James) Rennie of West Monroe, Mellisa (Chadwick) Hardy of Pulaski, Lisa (Ron) Novovesky of Pulaski, Marylee Jones of Petersburg, VA, Lynne (Jody) King of Mohnton, PA and Gerald (Terri) Arzie of Pulaski, siblings, Jean Martowicz of Mill Rift, PA and Arthur Sable of Hammondsport, NY, 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Judith was predeceased by her grandson, Gerald “Benny” Arzie in 2023.
A celebration of life will be held at 3 p.m., Friday, June 21st at the Mexico VFW, 5930 Scenic Ave, Mexico, NY. A reception will immediately follow until 8p.m. Arrangements are in care of Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski.
