Newspaper Obituary - Monday Afternoon, January 12, 1914 Watertown Daily Times - Watertown, New York - Pulaski, January 12 ¬- Mrs. John C. Erskine a native of Theresa, Jefferson county, died last Saturday morning at 2. Mrs. Erskine was about 65 years old and had been in feeble health for several years. She had lived here 30 years, coming from Fernwood with her family in order that the son and daughter, Walter A. Erskine, of Syracuse, and Miss Lulu B. Erskine of this village, could attend the High school. Her husband was for many years in the employ of the New York Central Railroad company, relinquishing the position about 18 months ago, in order that he might care for his wife, who had been stricken with a severe shock of paralysis. The funeral will be held from the family home in North street at 1 tomorrow afternoon.
